The final solve was an anagram consisting of seven letters. The salesman, identified as Bob by his nametag, seems to be having a grand old time pressing each one. Each of the buttons on the wall were unique in that they were either a different shape or color. My favorite one had the fleur-de-lis decoration in the middle. The selection of doorbells wasn’t overwhelming, but a couple of the models did look promising. ![]() Did you notice that all of the solved words were in alphabetical order? I’m sure it’s just a coincidence, but I always get a kick out of finding it! None of them stumped me in the least and they were all quite visible upon first glance. We’ve definitely seen both NUHDO and PLIME before. There weren’t any new clue words to begin the week, but two of the anagrams just happened to be. It’s like a perpetual game of hide and seek from the moment you enter their doors…. The same can’t be said for the warehouse stores. Not only is the merchandise of better quality, but there is always someone available to answer your questions. Not exactly a hum dinger, but it was an enjoyable finish nonetheless! I really enjoyed the fact that Jeff had the couple browsing for a doorbell at a small mom & pop shop as opposed to using a big box home improvement retailer. ![]()
